I'm Loving' It

The new Starbucks "Very Berry Hibiscus" Refresher is muy bueno!  I was very hesitant to try this coffee drink that tastes nothing like coffee, but let me just tell you it is so delish.  A grande drink only has 70 calories and it contains freeze-dried berries as well.  Once I finish my beverages, I fill my cup of with water and enjoy my "spa" water at my desk.  If you are lucky enough to have them sampling it at your local Sbux, make sure you give it a try.

Also loving the Hunger Games Triology.  I am on the final book of the series and trying to find any excuse to read it.

This bright, cheery and a little bit nautical look from Atlantic-Pacific.  I mean let's be honest, all of her outfits are lust-worthy but this one just screams glamorous fun in the sun.

Even though I am perfectly content and still loving my Yellow KitchenAid Mixer, I fell in love at first sight with this KitchenAid Artisan Susan G. Komen Stand Mixer in Raspberry Ice.  Not only would it be a brilliantly bold addition to any kitchen, but with the purchase of this mixer you are also contributing to the Susan G. Komen Cook for the Cure®’s efforts to cure breast cancer.

This ring and grey nail polish combo.  Whenever I see this photo I instantly want to run to the nearest beauty supply and pick up a bottle of grey polish (preferably chinchilly).  Grey, yellow, turquoise and a little bit of gold...possibly new bedroom color scheme?

Visits from friends and babies that include dinners at garlic ball heaven C&O Trattoria in Venice.

Holding sweet little buddy Raleigh while soaking up rays, sipping some wine at Sip in Malibu and reminiscing with friends.  This past weekend Coffey and Cabe flew down from Seattle so that many of us could meet little Raleigh as well as the handsome Easton.  It was a weekend of making the best of roadblocks and rules and fully of laughter and smiles.  So much fun!

I'm Lovin' It

The packaging of all the Honore des Pres perfumes.  I am head over heels in love with the Vamp A NY scent and have included it in my Holiday Wishlist.  The scent is a little bit sweetart meets a little bit spicy.  Pure goodness really.

These Loeffler Randall Back Zip Rubber Rain Boots.  I love the color and really love the edgy zipper in the back.  They are also slightly more affordable than the leather pair I have been eyeing.

Those crazy ass bizzos over on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.  I have my favorites (Lisa for sure) and then there are those that are just wacky (Taylor and Camille).  I am loving that they let us into their lives.

These beautiful, sparkly, ultra lovely frocks from Elie Saab's Spring 2011 RTW Collection.  Oh what I wouldn't do to one of those dresses.

Enjoying the Starbucks Christmas Blend in my "Red Cup" as I continue to wade through The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

The Cranberry Bliss Bars are back.  Trouble.  Trouble. Trouble.

Desperately Seeking Sully ~ Kitchen Goods

This past weekend I spent Saturday morning (and evening) at my girl Felicity's house enjoying tasty food and all her newlywed gifts she received (think linens, plates, platters, etc).  One of the new goods we tested out was the Nespresso® CitiZ & Milk Espresso Machine which I am totally obsessed with now.

This little baby makes the tastiest of coffees.  I should know, I did help myself to three servings.  The machine is SOOO easy to use and the coffee tastes and smells so incredible.  The milk frother makes the foamiest and creamiest milk you have seen or tasted, and all of this is achieved in under two minutes.

You basically buy these pre-measured air tight coffee capsules  insert them in the top of the machine and out flows this beautifully fragrant shot of espresso or cup of coffee.

Enjoying my nonfat latte in Feliss' new darling Emma cup and saucer.  I drink a lot of coffee and I have to say it was one of the best cups I have had in a very long time.  The best part is the coffee works out to be about $0.65 a capsule which means having a cheap cup of coffee that tastes good has never been easier (once you buy the machine that is).  Officially obsessed.

I really enjoyed drinking my coffee from this cute little cup and saucer, which made me realize I don't own any, which in turn made me search cup and saucers, which brought me to this china below.

The Missoni 'Margherita' Collection had me at first glance.  This bright collection screams fashion and fabulous and would really wake me up in the morning with a smile.  The colors, the pattern, and the mug alone, just perfection.  And those plates aren't too shabby either.

The other day I walked into Williams Sonoma with my girl Lisa and stopped immediately upon entering, when I saw the sauce below front and center.

Pumpkin Parmesan Pasta Sauce sounds absolutely delightful.  One of the things I love most about fall is the introduction of pumpkin as an ingredient at restaurants.  Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Pumpkin Bread, Pumpkin Scones, Pumpkin Butter, but Pumpkin Parmesan Pasta Sauce.....get out of town.  I believe I will be stopping by the store again to pick me up a jar as it sounds just too good not to pass up.

What kitchen item are you currently loving or can't live without?

Get Your SBux On

The days and months leading up to April 15th are usually full of stress and disgust, due to that dreaded little thing....

But luckily, you have a whole 'nother year before you have to think about them again! That calls for a celebration right?

Well my friends, the kind folks at Starbucks are hoping to provide a little relief not only to you, but also to our environment.

Head into your local Sbux with a reusable coffee mug and receive a free cup of drip. I took my new mug that I received from my Easter Bunny roomie Lindsay from Old Navy and collected my free cup of Pike Place Brew and a slice of the Reduced Fat Berry Coffee Cake. I added a little soy milk and a dash of cinnamon to my coffee and let me just say it is heaven in a mug.

I will admit it. I love my Sbux. I love my white cup with the green logo. What I love more however, is keeping some extra change in my pocket and not being so wasteful. Every time you bring in your own reusable travel mug, Starbucks will give you 10 cents off your drink of choice. You gotta feel good about that!

I found some cute and reasonably priced reusable mugs that are yours for the purchasing. I have 3 travel mugs that I rotate use of and I'm telling you, it really makes my coffee taste better, and it keeps it hotter longer.

Similar to the one I am drinking from today and perhaps the most popular (it really looks like a cup from your favorite coffee shop), is the I'm Not A Paper Cup porcelain cup. It's simple, no frills, no gimmicks, just a coffee cup you can use again and again.

I personally heart this Hot Pink Porcelain Friendly Reusable Coffee Silicone cup. It's bright and cheery and perfect for coffee or tea! As an added bonus it has the sleeve that keeps your hand from getting too hot or your drink from slipping. Brilliant!

I love the design and added features of Australian brand Keep Cup. The sleeve to help you keep a grip on your coffee, the movable plug that prevents your drink from splashing all over the place and the three size options to ensure you have just the right amount of coffee or tea. Plus they are available in a variety of color combinations so that you can coordinate with your car, outfit, office, whatever.

So go ahead, drop the $10-$20 for the mug and then put it to good use. Helping the environment and saving a little dough will make that morning cup of joe (or tea) all the more enjoyable!
