Gift Guide #4 ~ Nifty Gifty under Fifty

I am dying to own this luxurious Belmacz Glow Lip Balm and I am pretty sure any other gal in your life would too.  It has a pretty color with actual flakes of gold that blend in to make the gloss a shimmery goodness.

For the hostess with the mostess or the party that needs to get started, the 80's Table Topics will make sure there aren't any crickets present at any future parties.

The Capri Blue Mercury Glass Jar not only looks gorgeous when lit but also fills the home with a delectable scent.

For your accident prone friend, why not help her cover her boo-boos with these cute Cynthia Rowley Band Aids Dress Ups?  My fave is the sequin one, I may have to fake an injury just to use one.

I have been dying to try the EOS lip balm and what better way to introduce yourself or someone you love than this EOS Lip Balm Smooth Sphere Holiday Bag

Story of my life.  I need this f*cking bag to use at the grocery store.  Also perfect for the eco-friendly cute boy you have been stumped on what to buy.

Smelling good is never a bad thing, and options are even better.  The Juicy Couture Spray Pen Set is perfect for the gal on the go or to split up and pass along to your coworkers.

I love the message associated with this Pearls of Love Dogeared Necklace.  Whoever you give it to is sure to feel incredibly loved.

Another eco-friendly and incredibly stylish gift for the go getter is this Red Jonathon Adler To Go Holiday Mug .  Throw in a little Sbux gift card and you are sure to be a favorite.

Last year my gf Christy gifted me this awesome Lash Stash set from Sephora.  They are all travel size mascaras that you can try before you buy.  And let me just say that the danger is finding numerous mascaras that you not only like but LOVE!  The Hourglass and Laura Mercier were my faves in last years batch.  Perfect for the girl who is always up for trying something new.

Desperately Seeking Sully ~ Eco-Friendly Goods

Happy Earth Day Everyone!  Below are some Eco-Friendly goodies I would like to own!

My girl Mrs. F owns these gorgeous Amelia earrings.  These earrings go with everything and she is always getting compliments whenever she wears them.  The are actual leaves dipped in gold.  Earthy and glitzy all at the same time.  Gotta love that!

This vivid magenta of this gorgeous Barbara necklace is just begging to be worn with a simple white tank, blazer and jeans.

Without even realizing it this morning, I threw on my organic Hanky Pankies I bought last year.  Well this years style is a little different but I am still wanting to add them to my collection.  The Hanky Panky Color Play Low Rise T-Shirt Thong would be a great way to incorporate Eco-Friendly into your everyday life :)

I always reuse my shopping bags from JCrew, Bloomies or wherever I have them from to bring my lunch into work.  I tend to get another week or two use out of the bag and then inevitably have to recycle it.  I think it is time for me to invest in a BYOB Built Gourmet Getaway Lunch Tote, French Bull Vine Pattern bag.  Totally cute, washable and reusable.  Perfect for toting your lunch or picnic food around town.

So I seem to be a little obsessed with this fuchsia, magenta color and spied this darling Matt & Nat Tadeo Wallet. It's a little bit edgy, totally fun and amazingly Eco-Friendly.

Last but not least are these sexy and sassy Alkemie Long Snake Earrings.

However you choose to spend your Earth Day be sure to find at least one thing to reduce your carbon footprint today.  Happy Earth Day!

Get Your SBux On

The days and months leading up to April 15th are usually full of stress and disgust, due to that dreaded little thing....

But luckily, you have a whole 'nother year before you have to think about them again! That calls for a celebration right?

Well my friends, the kind folks at Starbucks are hoping to provide a little relief not only to you, but also to our environment.

Head into your local Sbux with a reusable coffee mug and receive a free cup of drip. I took my new mug that I received from my Easter Bunny roomie Lindsay from Old Navy and collected my free cup of Pike Place Brew and a slice of the Reduced Fat Berry Coffee Cake. I added a little soy milk and a dash of cinnamon to my coffee and let me just say it is heaven in a mug.

I will admit it. I love my Sbux. I love my white cup with the green logo. What I love more however, is keeping some extra change in my pocket and not being so wasteful. Every time you bring in your own reusable travel mug, Starbucks will give you 10 cents off your drink of choice. You gotta feel good about that!

I found some cute and reasonably priced reusable mugs that are yours for the purchasing. I have 3 travel mugs that I rotate use of and I'm telling you, it really makes my coffee taste better, and it keeps it hotter longer.

Similar to the one I am drinking from today and perhaps the most popular (it really looks like a cup from your favorite coffee shop), is the I'm Not A Paper Cup porcelain cup. It's simple, no frills, no gimmicks, just a coffee cup you can use again and again.

I personally heart this Hot Pink Porcelain Friendly Reusable Coffee Silicone cup. It's bright and cheery and perfect for coffee or tea! As an added bonus it has the sleeve that keeps your hand from getting too hot or your drink from slipping. Brilliant!

I love the design and added features of Australian brand Keep Cup. The sleeve to help you keep a grip on your coffee, the movable plug that prevents your drink from splashing all over the place and the three size options to ensure you have just the right amount of coffee or tea. Plus they are available in a variety of color combinations so that you can coordinate with your car, outfit, office, whatever.

So go ahead, drop the $10-$20 for the mug and then put it to good use. Helping the environment and saving a little dough will make that morning cup of joe (or tea) all the more enjoyable!

Green Goodies

Happy Earth Day! It's time to share this years batch of green goodies that will benefit not only the environment but also you of course!

First things first, just because you are going "Green" doesn't mean you need to look like a hippie. This EDUN Grass Collar Ainsley V-Neck Dress is so frickin' fantastic. I love the edginess of it as well as the contrast of the black against the white.

Wearing white can be a little difficult in the underwear department, but fret not, these Hanky Panky Organic Cotton Low Rise Thong should do the trick under any white dress, jeans, or whatever you choose to wear over them (perhaps nothing at all).

Make your peace with Mother Nature by sporting this beautifully affordable Alex & Ani Halo Descending Dove Necklace. A perfect piece that you can wear daily and feel good about.

Now that you are clothed in "Greenies", why not move on to your face?

Tarte's cheek stain is also going green with their special edition Natural Beauty shade. Packed full of vitamins and free of crap you really don't want to put on your face, you'll look like a blushing beauty even if you are only faking it.

Your lips deserve some loving too, and Tarte's Double Dose Lipgloss shouldn't disappoint anyone kissing them, much less Mother Nature.

After a day of sporting all your green goodies, you may just want to head home and relax. To make sure you continue your eco-friendliness be sure to light up The Healthy Candle by LaVanila. It smells good, it burns clean, and will give you the peace of mind you deserve.

GO EARTH DAY!

Wine Bag = Genius

Wine and bread…two of my favorite things to enjoy alone or with friends. I enjoy them so much that this Rebecca Minkoff Wine Bag might just be a necessity. This bag has a separate compartment for your wine and also your bread, which is important as you do not want the wine rolling over and crushing your bread!

This wine bag would also be a great house warming gift, as you could fill it with a nice bottle of wine and delicious olive bread (that is just my preference). Cute, functional and fun!

Paper, Plastic or Fashion?

That's right, the brown and plastic grocery store bags are SO last year. The new timeless trend, is bringing your own grocery bag to the store. I personally enjoy the Trader Joe's reusable bags (as an added bonus for being green, TJ's enters you in a drawing for $25 of free groceries just for bringing your own bag!), but really there are many other selections out there for you to choose from (Coco+Kelley loves Baggu).

I however, have my eye on a new bag, the Beau Soleil Beau Bag . Not only is it functional, but also fashionable (not often do these two go together!). Plus it clearly spells out how to become more "green" to those who perhaps have been living under a rock these past couple of years. Reduce, Renew, Recycle. It's just that simple, and this bag allows you to do all of the above, whilst being fashionable.

Done and Done.
