Easter Best Dressed

Ever since I was 11, Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays because of the bright colors, pretty prints and the fact that I almost always got a new dress for church on Sunday.  I just realized that I haven't even begun to think about what I will wear this coming Easter but I after browsing through a variety of dresses, I am leaning towards ruffles and bright colors.

Now I just need which brunch spot to wear my Easter best....

And a very special hug and a squeeze to my girl Karli and the healthy (quick) delivery of her new baby boy Liam!  So happy for The Konings!

Now I am just waiting for the 22nd and the arrival of little RJR...

Dandy Dress Deals

I am loving what ShopBop has got to offer in sale dresses lately!

This Tibi Daisy V-Neck Dress is a lovely hue of lavender and would be perfect for the spring days that are just ahead and is just $100.50! You could wear this for a wedding shower, a wedding, a date, brunch with the girls at the Beverly Hotel...the possibilities are endless really!

Brights not your thing? The Abaete Abigail Dress is gorgeous and one that you can keep in your closet for years to come. I first became a fan of Abaete's styles when I saw Rachel Bilson sporting a dress by them. Since then I have kept them in my radar (and wish list as they are a bit on the pricier side). The best part about the dress besides the glamorous belt…the not so glamorous price of $139.50.

Forever Frugal Friday: Office Style

It was a sunny, warm and lovely day (minus the smog) day in LA today and all I wanted to wear was a cute outfit like the ensemble above.

The Belted Ruffle Front Dress in purple is a fun addition to the beige decor that surrounds me each day, and the navy Cashmere Blend Open Cardigan allows me to pop over across the street and grab some drinks, without getting too chilly. Last but not least to add a little preppy-ness to the outfit I would sport this Grosgrain Ribbon Headband.

Cute and classy, perfect for work!

Forever Frugal Friday

I love me some Entourage and most of all I love me some Ari Gold. When I saw this Hug It Out Tee I just had to share it with ya'll. There is nothing better then a soft, cozy, tee that has a funny little saying on it. Whatever the occasion, do as Ari Gold would and "Hug it out bitch!"

Cheers!

Replicate: Blake Lively

photo from Blakelivelyweb.com

You already know I love me some Gossip Girl, but I REALLY love me some Blake Lively. She is totally stunning, has a smile that lights up whatever room she is in, and seems so sweet and completely down to earth. My kind of gal if you ask me.

She also has impeccable style. Always fun, leisurely, and pulled together…none of this not wearing panties and getting out of a car for her. True to her style, her amazing Tadashi Shoji One Shoulder Dress did not disappoint at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. I instantly fell in love with the look and hoped to be able to replicate the look for a few less pennies.

Although it is not the same incredible shade of purple as Blake’s, this Dolce Vita Cocoon Dress allows a little room for shapelier thighs and butt. Throw in the Michael Kors Lush Patent Pumps , Majorica Pearl Studs and Cynthia Rowley Soft Leather Sash Belt and you my friends will have everyone gossiping about you! In a good way!

For another great Teen Choice Copycat Outfit, head over to Avery Bleu and check out her finds for Kristen Bell’s fun skirt and top combo.
