Song of the Week: Three Little Birds

Hope ya'll had a fantastic long weekend. Mine was very relaxing, full of friends and music. Just lovely.

While the calendar still shows that it is "technically" summer until September 22nd, when I awoke this morning the sky was gray and there was a slight drizzle in the air whilst walking Waldo. However, the song that I awoke singing in my head was Bob Marley's Three Little Birds.  There is just something so soothing and happy about this song.

So take a cue from Mr. Marley and....
"Don't worry (don't worry) 'bout a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!"

Forever Frugal Friday

Okay so I seriously cannot believe we have entered the month of September and that this weekend marks the end of summer?  WHAAAAAAA? I am so not ready to bid summer adieu but it may be a little easier with this darling Chain Front Dress (sans the sheer mesh layer on top).  I see that military looks are raging for fall 2010, and this dress is the perfect way to integrate it into your fall wardrobe.

Shabby Apple Winner!

So I tallied up your comments...

Plugged the numbers into Random.Org

And would like to congratulate Miss Amanda on winning the San Gabriel Shabby Apple dress!

Thank you all entering this fabulous giveaway!  Thanks also to everyone over at Shabby Apple for offering up such a great prize!

Be sure to check back in the next few weeks, as I have another fabulous giveaway in the works for multiple winners!

9.02.10

Today's date made me smile when I awoke this morning as it is only the date of my favorite TV show growing up! 9-0-2-1-0!

It all started with the Walsh twins.  Brandon and Brenda.  Two innocent kids from Minnesota how moved into the big city of Beverly Hills, full of rich kids, bad boys and lots of teen lessons to be learned.

I tuned in every Wednesday night as the West Bev kids tackled cheating parents, U4EA, wearing the same prom dress and whether or not to go all the way with your BF.  I loved all of their fashion choices and dreamed of kissing one Dylan McKay..

You better believe I had a poster of him up in my room!

As an adult now and living in California, every time I drive on the PCH and pass the Beverly Hills Beach Club I am reminded of my favorite season of 90210...senior year.

While my deepest wishes were to meet the entire casts and become lifelong friends, I had to settle for meeting Steve Sanders (Ian Ziering) twice (super nice) and seeing Noah Hunter (Vincent Young) stumble out of a Hollywood bar instead.

So today I salute 9.02.10.  Thank you for providing me with hours of entertainment growing up and awesomely bad reruns on the Soap Net,  In fact this Labor Day they are playing the BEST season of 90210, the Kelly-Dylan-Brenda love triangle!  I cannot wait!

I will never grow tired of this song!
