Girl Crush ~ Blake Lively

{click photos to enlarge}

Am I the only one out there who has a major girl crush on Blake Lively?  Ever since she first appeared on Gossip Girl I have been blown away by her beauty, smile and fashion.  I constantly see photos of her smiling or laughing which leads me to believe that she is a sweet and personable gal off set and in real life.

Her red carpet fashion has put her on a few of the best dressed lists and who can blame the critics.  The girl has a killer body and wears clothes so well!  Perhaps that is why she was signed as the new face of Chanel...Her fashion choices are always a little edgy, straight off the runway and yet she gets it right almost every time.  Can we also just agree that she has the red carpet pose down to a T?

Whether she is smiling, smirking or pouting her makeup and hair is always flawless. Never overdone, and always breathtaking - her features in magazines always have me buying the mag to check out the spread.  Blake is a little bit California Girl, Bohemian Goddess and old Hollywood glamour.

Can we also please address her ridiculously incredible wardrobe on Gossip Girl?  I mean Serena's character can drive me a little batty sometimes but her fashion always has me swooning. I love the dynamic between Serena and Blair and am always looking forward to what love triangle Serena will get herself into next and what fabulous designer she'll be wearing next.  Not since Sex and the City have I coveted a characters wardrobe as much.

Blake's most recent role as Krista, Jeremy Renner's drug addicted sister in The Town earned her some well deserved attention and is sure to help her become a staple in Hollywood.  I for one cannot wait to see what else this beauty has up her sleeves, and most importantly, who designed those sleeves...

Elie Saab Spring 2010 RTW Collection

I will admit I am a little late in enjoying all the designs from Fashion Week, but just had to share the gorgeousness that is Elie Saab. You have seen his magnificent designs on the likes of Beyonce, Angelina, and January Jones (some of my favorite looks) and it is almost always guaranteed that his creations will be featured in the best dressed list.

His Spring 2010 RTW did not disappoint and I anticipate a few of these gowns will be rocking the award shows come January.

I am picturing this look for a award nomination brunch.

This outfit was made for Charlize Theron in my mind...perhaps she can present a Grammy?

This one is for Hayden Panettiere and the Golden Globes. I like to keep her in short and sexy dresses as whenever she wears those long gowns, she looks instantly old in my opinion.

This hot number I would select for Jennifer Aniston. Perhaps to her next movie premiere?

This red gown is such a show stopper that the woman wearing it needs to "own" it tough. I am thinking Hilary Swank? Her long and lean body would definitely be able to carry the draping of this fabric and the bold red!

I DIE for this gown! I am thinking that Anne Hathaway or Kate Hudson would just kill it on the red carpet with this number. Fabulously chic, sparkly and a little edgy. H-O-T!

What have been your favorite collections? Do you have a better celeb that you think one of these dresses would fit better? Let me know! More collections to come (as I let my inner Rachel Zoe out)!

Girl Crush ~ January Jones

Before I began watching Mad Men, the only thing I could tell you about January Jones is that I think she used to date Ashton Kutcher. Now that I watch, I can tell you she is a beautiful, stunning actress who I have developed a bit of a girl crush on. She can look demure, sweet and innocent and also super sexy. January also seems really normal and down to earth whenever I see her in interviews, which is such a relief. Below are some pics of this pretty lady who has definitely made a name for herself...

Nearly Nude...

As you can probably guess from the clothes I tend to post, I am not the hugest fan of nude/flesh colored items. Mostly because when I wear them I get completely washed out and look like a ghost and it just isn't a pretty sight. However, when Mrs. R returned back from her last trip to London and brought me back the UK Cosmopolitan April 2009 issue, I was singing a new nude tune after viewing the Pleasures of the Flesh article (click to enlarge all photos and read the details of items to buy).

First things first...I could care less about this top she is wearing, but I would pretty much kill for her makeup and hair.

The shoes are kind of amazing, wouldn't you say????

The only time I am pretty sure anyone is allowed to wear black socks and look smashing doing so.

Love the dress, makeup and her perfect pony!

*sigh*

Who knew nude could be so naughty???

Sparkling Nude is alright in my book!
