Song Of The Week: We R Who We R

Say what you will about Ke$ha's style and look, but I absolutely adore her music. Totally catchy and so easy to dance to, her last album Animal was filled with infectiously addictive pop songs that just put me in the best of moods.

I am happy to say that her second album Cannibal (released November 22nd) is off to a great start with the single We R Who We R.  My roomie Avery got me totally addicted to this song and let me just say that it is the BEST song to run to.  I actually ran for 10 minutes longer than originally planned because I was so pumped listening to this song.  Never a bad thing if you ask me!

Happy Weekend

Have you ever had one of those days that isn't necessarily a bad one, but leaves you feeling exactly like the picture above?

That was my day today and to state it plainly, I am pooped!  So I am going to bid you all adieu until next week!  Enjoy a glass of wine this weekend and cuddle up with someone you love.

XOXO

Song Of The Week: Check It Out

Over a month ago my gf Mrs. F called me at work to tell me I had to download the newest will.i.am song Check It Out [Explicit] featuring Nicki Minaj.  I kind of spaced and never got to listening to the song until a few weekend ago when we spent Friday night at The Whaler in Venice.  We dropped about $10 into the jukebox and I finally heard the song the Mrs. F was talking about and LOVED it!

Sampling Video Killed The Radio Star, this song is perfect for getting ready for a night out on the town.  This past weekend we listened to it a few times again and I am still not tired of it.

Check It Out!

Happy {Halloween} Weekend!

For the first time ever, we were allowed to dress up at work.  I luckily had this old dress I bought for a party years ago that was "work appropriate" (versus slutty *fill in the blank*) and decided to try for Betty Draper.

I also thought it might be fun to zombify myself after seeing Kris' version.

Although it is not my most favorite holiday, today has been quite a lot of fun, and eating all the delish treats hasn't been so bad either.

Hope you have an eventful Halloween with lots of treats and no tricks!

Forever Frugal Friday

Things I am lacking in my closet.  A kick-ass red jacket.
