Forever Frugal Friday

Last week, when I posted this pic, I got some comments about white wayfarers and heart-shaped sunglasses. So below are some great priced replicas, that you won't feel too bad about breaking or losing!

I have been AWFUL at working out this year.  Last year I had a few weddings to attend, and some great vacation destinations that all encouraged me to hit the gym tough.  This year instead of hitting the gym, I've been...

And while I would like to say walking the dog is my daily exercise, the reality is that I am now 30 and my body needs to be pushed a lot harder in order to stay in shape.  We all have our excuses, and most often mine is that I am so tired at the end of the day and don't have time to workout.  Well the buck stops here, because on Tuesday night I tried out Amy Dixon's Give Me 10! workout on the exercise channel and I was sweating like a PIG!

I did the Fat Blasting Cardio workout and it was fast-paced, intense and totally awesome.  I am totally thinking of buying this DVD and combing a few of these 10 minute routines to make my own perfect workout.  However if you only have 10 minutes, these routines will really get your heart moving and make you feel pretty incredible at the end.

So if you are always finding excuses for why you can't work out, give this DVD a shot, cause really we all have at least 10 minutes to spare!

I have been dying to take a professional picture to attach to this blog (other than my randy photos from the weekend), but also think everyone should experience a photo shoot. Song Of The Week: Everywhere

I thought that this week would be the final week of "covers" but I have two great covers that must be shared, so we will continue on. Last week my girl "Mayo" posted a link to Vampire Weekend's amazing cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Everywhere".  And it just so happens that "Everywhere" is my favorite Fleetwood Mac song, so of course I took a listen and of course I fell in love. 

Vampire Weekend already kicks major ass in my eyes and after watching the video for "Giving Up The Gun" starring hottie Jake Gyllenhaal I have been listening to them everyday nonstop.  This song has already been added to 5 different playlists on my IPod and I have listened to it already 4 or 5 times writing this post.  It pretty much rules!

This weekend was fabulous and perfect in every way.  It started with friends and happy hour, watching the Lakers win not once, but TWICE, winning a flip cup tourney and enjoying the sunset with some wonderful company.  Happy Monday!
