CRACOW FASHION AWARDS 2011 – HOW IT WAS
15th edition of Cracow Fashion Awards 2011 is over. We Could see and comment collections 51 diploma During an over 4 hours long fashion show. How it was?
This year the event returned to the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre, which pomieściło over 1000 personal audience. I must admit that in the end, however, last year's location was a change for the better, but unfortunately in the subject location, this year we can say that there was a slight decline. NCC has a room with a traditional theater audience - ie, rising long rows of seats facing front to the scene of increasingly higher levels. This has several drawbacks: first of all by the lion's share of the time profiles observed only from the front, and (for most of the audience) "from above". Besides, there is a practical factor - anyone who has to leave the audience during the show needs a little nagimnastykować and "poprzeszkadzać" other persons in the audience. In last year's location, we were dealing with a large flat open space in which seats in the form of movable chairs were spaced sectors, primarily along the catwalk. Thanks silhouettes seen "from below", each had the opportunity to look at the longer modelkom from different perspectives. Besides, some guests are not circulated outside the usutannie seats and there have frequent interaction. Okay, but what about the collections themselves?
The general impression also, unfortunately, was that compared to 2009 and 2010 was less interesting. What not to say that there was no collection that caught our attention. Among other "paneling" Luke Stachowicz , who won the statuette Cracow Fashion Awards 2011. This collection was inspired by travel and Grandma's attic. Very well played "as a whole", and the same show, accompanied by interesting variety: individually composed music, a musician on the catwalk, the samples were distributed to the audience smell. In addition to the statuette Cracow Fashion Awards "paneling" also received a number of additional prizes.
The second collection, which was accompanied by a scenic element was a collection of "cyclist" Justyna Gamon. During her presentation at the scene showed the two traditional bicycles. Another collection, which accounted for we liked was the "Dual Line" created by Monika Nemeth Szumińską-designed for pregnant women. Monica's Creations in the clever way they can be matched to both the pregnant woman's silhouette and the silhouettes of the standard. We also believe that it is worthwhile to look at the "Modus Vivendi" by Monika Jaworska that inspired the men's dressing room at the same time abandoning all conventions.Very well presented on the catwalk is also a collection of "Arch.tekt.onik" in which the silhouettes could be seen the overall plan and meticulous work, and all invented and made by our editorial colleague Anne Dudzińska - congratulations!
