I am a little embarrassed to admit this, but I had no idea who Florence + the Machine was until I watched the VMA's on September 12th. I had seen the Lungs album at Starbucks and on Itunes but never really investigated further than that.
Then I watched this, and realized I had heard this song before in the "Eat, Pray, Love"
trailer. Well my friends, I am absolutely 100% addicted to this song. "Dog Days Are Over" has become my "happy song". I listen to it every morning when I wake up and walk Waldo, and then I listen to it in my car on the way into work (stuck in traffic) and then I listen again on my way home and slap my hands to the beat on the steering wheel. It is so hard to not sing along with or dance to this song when it is on. Needless to say, I purchased the entire album and it does not disappoint. Florence Welch has quite an incredible voice and she sounds equally as amazing performing live. In fact, I just read that she was discovered at nightclub in London by a music agent, singing in the bathroom drunk. Quite a claim to fame story if you ask me.
