'Tis the season to get
engaged! Anne Hathaway has fallen in love on the
big screen several times during a number of romantic comedies, but her fictional fairytale is about to become a reality because the actress is now engaged to her
real-life boyfriend, Adam
Shulman. Engagement rumors started
circulating on Sunday after the starlet was spotted wearing a ring at a park in Brooklyn. But Hathaway's rep officially confirmed the news this morning to People magazine, stating that the
two lovebirds are definitely getting married. What a great way to
kick off the holidays!Over the summer, Hathaway gushed about her boyfriend at the One
Day premiere, saying, "I'm a romantic at heart. He's the best!" But falling in love so quickly wasn't part of her initial plan. The actress previously admitted,
"I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan. I was really actually looking forward to a
little alone time, and then
I fell in love like a fool!" The couple began dating in 2008.
No further details were released about the upcoming nuptials, but Shulman is an actor/jewelry
designer, so you know the ring's got to be pretty awesome (lets hope some pictures of the bling surface soon).
