Your lips are the most important and exquisitely sensitive part of your body. And thereforeyou have to take special care of your lips.
When you come across someone, the first thing that catches your attention is the face. Soft healthy pink lips usually draw attention. They lend a fresh invigorating look to your face. Lips are the most sensitive part of our body and therefore require constant nurturing. Thus, it is of prime importance to pay attention to your lips. Dry chapped lips spoil the whole look and make your face appear dull, pale and unattractive.
Well, in this article, we will present you with a couple of tips on how to take care of your lips,
so read on.Lip care does not comprise of a single task, but a series of activities that need to be performed on a constant basis to get a fruitful result. Luscious lips set the perfect mood for romance. To reduce the proximity between you and your partner, take regular care of your lips, so that they look fresh and healthy.
Luscious lips also provide you the opportunity to stand out in the crowd. They bring you in the limelight
Protect your lips from the harsh weather conditions. Eat plenty of green veggies and fruits. Gorge on foods rich in Vitamins.
Increase your intake of water. Apply lip balm and keep your lips moisturized. Lips will look beautiful and attractive only if they are healthy. Applying makeup on dry chapped dark lips will not make them appear eye-catchy. It can only invite unwanted attention that brings forth the fact that your lips are dry and chapped. Refrain from licking your lips.

Tips how to make lipstick last long

The secret to making your lip color last longer is first of all to apply a layer of foundation, dust some powder on lips and then color. After these manipulations your lipstick will not change color or dark your lips. Its also useful to apply two coats of lipstick for long lasting lip color. Matt lipsticks normally last longer than the shiny ones.

Applying a lip liner

After preparing the lips, take a lip liner to define the shape of lips. Outlining the lips is good, if you want to prevent lip color bleeding. The color of the lip liner should be close to lipstick color: the best variant would be the same or a little bit darker color.
Here are tips how to apply a lip liner. Start at the centre of lips, draw a  on bow of lips, after it draw the line to outer corners. Then line the bottom lip. If you want to make your lips look thicker, outline them just outside your lip line. In case you want your lips appear thinner, make the outline just inside your natural lip line. After the shape is defined, fill it with lipstick. After filling the interiors, apply the lipstick in the corners, which is easier with the open the mouth

Some more tip for lip care and a beautiful lip make-up

  • Use lip care stick before going to bed with your other face treatment. Your lips are sensitive and need care and rest. Very dried and chipped lips can also be helped by applying sunflower oil on them.
  • You can apply lipstick with a brush.
  • Mix lip care stick with color lipstick, if your lips tend to look dried and chipped. Too much lip care stick can make the final color brighter in the middle and the rest color concentrate on the periphery of the lips.
  • Refrain from licking your lips.
  • Lip-gloss can be applied either alone or on matte lipstick to make your lips shine.
  • Apply cotton buds to remove excess lipstick.
You can always experiment and create new beautiful looks with different colors of the lipstick and lip liners, mixing lipstick and lip-gloss, drawing different shapes of your lips. While experimenting dont forget to regularly take care of your lips, because if your lips are healthy, they look much more attractive and can be a real turn-on.

Updo Hairstyle for Weddings
The third wedding hairstyle idea present here is your basic, but really gorgeously done updo. A lot of women prefer updos because these hairstyles provide a unique appearance that no one attending the wedding can outshine. A great updo can make the bride gleam with radiance. This updo has a distinctive tie in the back and the hair is brushed back to form a prime place to add a tiara to top of the look.
Long Wedding Hairstyle
The second wedding hairstyle here is for hair that is a several inches longer in length. The hairstyle is center parted with wavy locks that fall gently past the shoulders. Instead of a veil, a floral tiara is used to add a touch to the overall style where a veil could take away from the overall view. There are multiple ways to go with flowing wedding hairstyles or down dos. Check out the wedding hairstyle pictures gallery for more ideas.

Medium Bridal Hairstyle
This wedding hairstyle is a choice for medium length hair. The bangs have a small sweep and the tresses are just allowed to naturally flow down with some touch. The ends are lightly curled out producing a complimentary style with the veil. A nice wedding hairstyle idea for woman with medium length hair.

Black hair style

Black Hair Styles:

Black hair is more fragile than most, requiring tender, loving care. The follicles and hair shaft are tightly curved, creating a naturally curly or kinky texture. With less oil production, black hair also tends to become dry and easily knotted.Cornrow braiding, glues used to apply extensions, use of hair relaxers and other popular services may lead to hair and scalp problems that require a visit to the dermatologist.
“The frequent use of chemical hair relaxers to straighten the waves of African-American hair weakens the hair, even when done properly,” says Dr. Gary J. Brauner, an associate clinical professor of dermatology at Mt. Sinai Medical School in New York City.
For women who favor Afros for a natural look, use of a pick to lift hair at its bushiest spots can cause damage. If braids are pulled too tightly, hair may fracture and break, leading to bald spots and hair loss. Women who regularly use a hot comb to relax their hair may suffer progressive, irreversible hair loss, beginning at the crown and spreading across the entire head.
Jenyne M. Raines, a former associate beauty editor at Essence magazine, encourages black women to make peace with their hair in her new book, Beautylicious! The Black Girl’s Guide to the Fabulous Life. She outlines six basic hairstyles for women of African heritage, with chic updates. (“The rest is just a riff on a theme,” she writes.)

  1. The Afro was designed to form a perfect circle during the 1970s. Today, aim for a “textured, piecey, free ’fro,” she recommends, perhaps parted to one side.
  2. The classic pageboy, meant for straightened hair, is now a modern, layered bob.
  3. The “slicked-back ’do” for short hair was generously “lubed” and brushed back when you were younger. Today, it’s “texturized to highlight the natural curl pattern.”
  4. Long, straight hair will never go out of style, but Raines recommends angling it at the face or fashioning “a riot of natural curls.”
  5. Ponytails are always a sensible standby when you’re pressed for time, but Raines believes buying an I Dream of Jeannie-style hairpiece confers a more sophisticated look.
  6. Braids are always pleasing to the eye, and Raines urges women to aim for Janet Jackson’s look in the film Poetic Justice.

Foot Care

Foot Care: Without doubt, your feet are the most active part of your body, even more than your hands. In fact, most of the time they are definitely overworked. Especially in todays day and age, the big metros are so widespread that one has to cover long distances to get from one place to the next be it for job or other work. Therefore it is very much essential that one must take extra care of their feet in order to avoid having foot problems. Moreover you can try to make skin on the feet like babies have  soft and silk.

make a rule before going to bed daily pamper your feet with a rich moisturizing cream, vaseline or any child cream and wear cotton socks.Use hot-cold water technique. Dip your feet in hot water and then after five minutes dip it in cold water. Do this for 20 minutes. This method improves the blood circulation.
Choose your shoes carefully and pick only the best quality.
Do not expose your feet to extreme climate i.e., extreme cold or extreme heat.
Use the special scrub for feet. To do it, mix sugar with olive oil.
If you suffer from excessive sweating of feet, make the fine remedy by yourself. Grind apricot kernels and mix them with water. Put the mixture on the feet for 15-20 minutes before sleep.

The skin on your feet is quite hardwearing but it is still important that you take care of the most hardworking part of your body. Wash your feet every day. You wouldn’t think twice about washing your body, so don’t forget your feet cleaning with soap or shower gel gets rid of the daily build-up of grime and sweat.Dry your feet thoroughly - including between your toes. Fungi flourish in warm, damp conditions, which can lead to athlete’s foot.
  • Use a pumice stone or foot scrub to exfoliate hard skin on the soles of your feet. This is best done during or after a shower or bath when the skin is soft.
  • Trim your toenails. Use nail clippers or scissors to cut straight across each toenail don’t cut down the sides as this can lead to in-growing nails. If nails are hard, soften them in a hot bath or shower before cutting them.
  • Wear a clean pair of socks everyday, and rotate your shoes so they don’t get smelly.
  • Don’t squash your feet into badly fitting shoes. This can lead to bunions.
  • If you have diabetes, blood flow problems can lead to nerve damage or ulcers in the feet. Visit a podiatrist or chiropodist regularly so that any problems are found early.
  • After a long day on the go, your feet can feel tender and sore. Rejuvenate them with a hot foot soak, but remember not to plunge very cold feet into hot water, as this can cause chilblains.
  • Many of us moisturise our bodies, so each time you do,use a foot cream to soften cracked heels.
  • make a rule before going to bed daily pamper your feet with a rich moisturizing cream, vaseline or any child cream and wear cotton socks.

Many of us do not give our feet the required attention, hardly realizing that they absorb nearly 5  times our body weight. Each foot has 26  bones-a quarter of all the bones in your body-combined with an  intricate network of muscles and tendons.
  • Keep your toe nails trimmed
  • Remove rough skin.
  • Massage feet & ankle regularly.F
  • Hair care

Hair Care: Many misapprehensions are there about our hair and its care and concerns.
Once we know the truth, the solution for hair dispute becomes rational and
commonsensical and we can well be familiar with it to give real good care.
The most extensively held false impression relating to hair is that it is live organic
material, and everyone thinks that newly discovered commercial medicine/any hair
related product would solve the condition.
    Hair Care Tips.
    1. Apply olive oil (or Musturd Oil) at bed time and wash off the hair next morning.
    2. Boil mustard oil. A regular massage of this oil is helpful.
    3. Always maintain a balanced diet with exercise for healthy hair. Drinking plenty of water
and eating plenty of raw fruits and vegetables is probably the best way to achieving healthy hair.
    4. Wash your hair with a paste of cooked Urad dal (black beans) and fenugreek (methi) 2-3 times a week.
    5. Trim the hair every 4 to 5 weeks even if you are growing it.
    6. Coconut oil mixed with lime- juice on the hair applied daily is also good for hair health .
    7. Don’t use any old rubber band as they tend to break or split hair. Instead just use a
scrunchy or a fabric coated elastic band.
    8. Don’t brush wet hair too harshly because its three times weaker and more likely to break
off mid strand. Towel dry hair first, then gently detangle using a wide toothed comb.
    9. Rinsing your hair with lemon juice can bring life and shine back to dull hair.
    10. If you have dandruff then apply a mixture of vinegar and water on the scalp
before you go to bed. Keep it overnight. Rinse your head with vinegar water again in the morning.
You will see the result within few weeks.
    11. Another good way to get rid of dandruff is to soak ground fenugreek seeds overnight in
water and massage the paste on the head, leaving it for a few minutes and then wash it.
    12. Mix Banana in Honey and apply on hair for 30 - 40 min, and then wash it for that sheen
    in your hair.
    13. For stopping your hair from getting grey, you can mix Bhringraj (Eclipta elba), Amala, corals,
iron and black sesame seeds. It is very useful and even stops the graying of hair.
    14. Another good way is to keep head of healthy hair is to Apply juice of green coriander leaves
    on the head.
    15. Massage of olive oil and almond oil on your scalp is a good cure of dandruff.
    16. Mash eight strawberries with one tablespoon mayonnaise. Massage into washed, damp hair.
Cover with a shower cap, then a warm towel. Wash out with a shampoo/conditioner combination.
This luscious mix of rich acidic berries will leave your hair both conditioned and with rich gloss.

If your hair is damaged, dry or color-treated, use hair care products formulated to repair this
damage and add much-needed shine and resiliency. On the other hand, if your hair is oily, use a deep-cleansing shampoo and light conditioner to keep your hair looking its best. The right products should be at the base of your hair care routine.

Get a trim every 6 to 8 weeks as part of your regular hair care routine. Even if you are growing
your hair longer, it is still vital to make a routine trim a major part of your hair care routine.
Snipping ends before they split will keep your hair looking healthy and save you hair care headaches
    in the end.

Protect your hair with hair care products that contain sunscreen.

Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to shampoo your hair daily. Doing so can make your
hair dry and hard to work with.

Yes, kitchen beauticians and friends do not cost as much as putting your hair care needs in the
hands of a qualified professional, but they often cause blunders that end up costing you more
money than if you went to the salon in the first place.

There are many hair coloring systems on the market, and the ones you choose can have a great
impact on your hair care costs. Simply put: choose a system that causes minimal damage and
conditions hair as it colors. This will save you money when it comes to conditioning hair care
    products.

In order to keep your hair as healthy as it can be, ask your hair care professional to recommend
only one chemical service: color or perm. By only using the service that is perfect for your
particular style and needs, you will ensure that your hair stays healthier.

By adding texture to your style, through perm or cut, you can greatly reduce the time it takes to style and perform your daily hair care routine. And you will look sensational.

With all of the professional coloring techniques available, this part of your hair care regimen has never been easier. From chunky highlights to soft color, you can greatly enhance your style with the right technique.

Comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb when it is wet to prevent breakage. The only time you should use a brush during your hair care routine is when your hair is barely damp or dry.
Ten Absolute-Don of Great Hair CareTo avoid all hair care disasters, follow these 10 absolute-don’ts of great hair care.
    1. Avoid unprofessional and over-the-counter hair care products whenever you can. Many of these only offer false hopes and promises.
    2. Do not cut your own bangs. Leave all of your cutting needs, even bangs, to your hair care professional.
    3. Avoid excessive sun, chlorine and salt water during the summer months. Excessive exposure can cause severe damage that is irreversible even if you use the best hair care products.
    4. Do not use clarifying hair care products on your tresses more than one time per week. They can strip hair of moisture and essential oils.
    5. Do not visit a hair care salon without first getting a referral from someone you can trust. Choosing a salon based on an advertisement or sale alone is very risky.
    6. Do not purchase hair color that comes in a box.
    7. Never stick with an outdated look because you are afraid of looking different. Styles change for a reason. Ask your hair care professional to bring you into this decade with a new style.
    8. Do not straighten your hair with a clothes iron. C’mon, this was so over in the 70s. We have straightening irons now that won’t damage your hair. Look in the hair care isle.
    9. Don’t brush your hair or put too much tension on it while it is still wet. This will cause breakage. Also, do not wear tight styles such as cornrows for extended periods of time unless you have ethnic hair.
    10. Never use sun-lightening products such as lemon juice or over-the-counter hair care products designed to lighten hair with the sun unless you want a very short hair cut in the future.
In the end, hair care is a very individualized and personal thing. Feel free to add your own flair and style to your hair care routine, but remember to include hair care principles that will benefit your hair and avoid those that damage it.

    Happiness...

I am a blubbering mess.  At lunch today I burst into tears upon meeting this handsome boy.

I want to send out a HUGE congratulations to the Freni Family and their perfect little bundle of joy Oliver!  I couldn't be happier for mom and dad and am so excited to get to watch this sweet boy grow up.  Love you so much Jim Jam - you are already such a wonderful mother (and can we just all agree she looks incredible after giving birth less than 24 hours ago?) and I am overjoyed for the 3 of you!

Summer Essentials Series ~ Zucchero, Zucchero

Yahoo!  I am back from Seattle and have just enough time to unpack, wash and repack before I depart for Amsterdam on Friday.  I am so honored that the ever busy and beautiful bride to be Holly from Zucchero, Zucchero took time out of her planning to share her summer essentials with us all.  I have been reading Holly's blog for years and years now and truly feel as though she is one of my blog friends.  She has a love for the Giants, a good bloody mary and is always sharing wonderful crafts, food and finds.  Great blog, great gal, get reading!  And check out her picks below!

*What one item can you not be without this summer?*

Caudalie Lip Conditioner.  This is hands down the best lip balm out there. I recently spent too much time in the sun and my poor lips got burnt and the only lip balm that made them feel better and repair them was Caudalie! Bonus points that it's not made with any parabens or sulfates.

*What are you craving for summer 2011?*

I'd be lying if I said time at the beach, backyard BBQs or something along those lines. While I crave those things every summer, this year my mind is on my summer wedding! At the end of August I am hoping it's the best end of summer party ever. All of my loved ones, my new husband, with a gorgeous backdrop dancing the night away under the late August sky sounds pretty good to me.

*What is your essential summer song for 2011?*

The Rascals - A Beautiful Morning.  An oldie, yes, but I dare you to listen to this and not smile. This is the best song that pumps me up in the morning. Listen to this when the sun is shining and you're driving to work and it will start you off right!

Thank you so much Holly for sharing your summer goods.  I am absolutely LOVING that photo of the two of you and send the happiest of wedding wishes to the both of you.  And I am so planning to listen to that song in the morning.  I just love that feeling!  Be sure to head over to Zucchero Zucchero and check out all her lovely posts and follow up on what is sure to be a picturesque wedding!

Tomorrow check back for the ladies of Miss B and Hustle!
